Our First Tanzania Safari – By Nicole And Emily Robertson
''kind, personable, knowledgeable, and funny..
My sister and I take a trip every year to a new place both of us have never visited before. It is a tradition we have carried with us since 2019 and will carry for many years to come! We decided this year that we would visit Tanzania and do a Tanzania Safari. She has previously done safaris in other countries, but this would be my first one ever. We spent 3 days in Tarangire, Lake Manyara, and Ngorongoro Crater with WildReality Safari.
Our guide Ebon was kind, personable, knowledgeable, and funny, and we had a blast exploring the beautiful scenery of Tanzania with him during our safari. We stayed at comfortable and luxurious lodges that had views that were to die for. It was so comforting knowing we would have a safe and clean space to rest our heads each night after a long day of looking for wildlife.
Other roads such as the one between the Serengeti and the Ngorongoro Crater are dirt roads and very bumpy. Lots of free African massages here, the joke is almost getting old. It’s comfortably warm, especially with the windows open, but Emmanuel and I constantly have to roll our windows up and down to keep the dust from a passing jeeps from blowing into our faces. No automatic windows here. Before we enter any park we have to purchase a pass, the parking lots at each entry a mass of jeeps and people. They usually have coffee shops, souvenir shops and bathrooms for the passengers while the guides procure the appropriate paperwork. Your permit is then checked before you can go through the gates.
My First Tanzania Safari Experience.
As this was my first experience on a Tanzania safari, I may say my expectations for the next one will be HIGH. WildReality Safari set the bar so high. We saw all the Big 5 animals and even saw 7+ active lions at a close yet safe distance.
I loved getting up close and personal with 25+ elephants as well as giraffes, rhinos, warthogs, zebras, water buffalo, baboons, and many more. It seemed like February was the perfect time of the year to visit because crowds were minimal and there were baby animals galore!
I would HIGHLY recommend this Tanzania safari and any excursion WIldReality Safari offers because this was a one in a lifetime experience that I will hold with me for the rest of my life.
